The Winter Antiques and The American Antiques Shows

This is antiques week in New York City. The anchor events are the Winter Antiques Show and The American Antiques Show. From our tour of each show, things looked promising for the dealers. We saw lots of red circles indicating SOLD. Every dealer that we met seemed satisfied about business. In each of these shows, dealers exhibit the very best they can acquire. Even in this economy, we were still in awe of the remarkable objects the dealers put out for the public.

The TAASshow was busy; the Winter Show was packed. The dealers we chatted with barely had a moment to talk.
